Students were asked to obtain a notebook for this class. Since sketching designs, and taking visual notes on processes and procedures is part of this class most students will work best with notebook of unlined paper.
Students were introduced to the website Maucks.com. This site is a great place to study for safety tests.
Students worked to identify several different species of lumber including: Alder, Cherry, Walnut, Ash, Beech, Douglas Fir. Students will be introduced.
Students began studying the safe use of the Compound Miter Saw.
