SAFETY!
The most important part of my job is keeping everyone safe. Thank you for your help and care on the first days of class.
Periods 3 and 4 spent the day beginning to learn the layout of the shop, and beginning to learn about the different classes of tools that we will be working with. Period 5 had the honor of unloading our first truck load of wood: well done, and safely!
PPS has budgeted for wood for our class, but this load was 100% donated. The Landers-Bree Foundation www.landersbree.org donated the vast majority of it; Hardwood Industries, our supplier donated the pallet of Alder offcuts.
